Arquitecto y Magíster en Arquitectura, Universidad Católica de Chile, en la cual es académico. Además tiene estudios de postgrado en la Escuela de Arquitectura Universidad de Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Se desempeñó como Secretario Académico de la Escuela y de la Facultad de Arquitectura hasta el año 2002. Ha realizado diversos trabajos profesionales en su oficina, además de participar en concursos. En 2002 gana el segundo premio del proyecto de Diseño Urbano para el Portal Cerrillos del Bicentenario de Santiago, como parte de un equipo, y en 2003 forma parte de un equipo ganador de un premio de honor en una competencia de diseño urbano en Singapore. Recientemente es Doctor de la Graduate School of Design en Harvard University, en la cual fue profesor instructor de varios talleres de arquitectura y diseño urbano y editor del libro Bringing Harvard Yards to the River. La tesis doctora se titula Vivienda Masiva y Urbanización en el camino a la Modernización de Santiago de Chile 1930-60.
Architect and Master in Architecture from the Universidad Católica de Chile, he also has undertaken graduate studies in the School of Architecture of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He is a Doctor of Design from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Since 1998 he is a Faculty at the Universidad Católica School of Architecture. Several of his professional works and competitions have been published in Chile. In 2002, he was part of a team who won the second prize of the Urban Design of Portal Cerrillos for the Bicentennial of Santiago and in 2003 part of team for an urban design competition in Singapore with an honor prize. He recently graduated as Doctor of Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, at which he was a Fulbright scholar, teaching fellow of several architecture studios, and editor of the book Bringing Harvard Yards to the River. The doctoral dissertation was entitled Mass Housing and Urbanization on the Road to Modernization in Santiago of Chile, 1930-1960.
